This is a typical example of a work on commission, (August 2008)
A client in the U.K. found my gouache painting ( dimensions 50 x 65 cm) on the net and sent me a mail to ask if I could make a „bigger“ reproduction of it.
So big was it that I had to climb on a ladder to paint this 155 x 195 cm piece (acrylics on canvas). You can see it on the left here, wrapped and ready to go to the U.K.
Some days later I received following mail:
„... The painting arrived safely on Saturday and looks fantastic...“
and one week later later
“...You will be glad to hear your picture is now hanging on the wall and looks spectacular. ..“
(Com-) mission accomplished!
